Inter Defender Godin: “It’s Not A Lost Opportunity, It’s A Good Point”

Inter centre back Diego Godin spoke with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia following Inter’s goalless draw at home to Roma.

“It was a good game, the opposition were strong and we always had to fight. We tried to win as we always do but we had to settle for one point. It is not a lost opportunity. It is a good point,” he said.

“We are fighting head-to-head with Juventus and it can happen that you draw these games against teams of a certain level. We are in the right mindset and the fans have supported us. Roma were strong and despite having long stretches with the ball never got many shots on goal.”
