Noted Journalist Marani: “Antonio Conte Is The Anti-Juventus, Not Inter”

Respected Italian football journalist Matteo Marani has shared his belief that Antonio Conte will be the difference between whether or not Juventus continue to win this season, not Inter.

Former Italian national team manager Conte took charge of Inter over the Summer and currently has them sitting top of the table in Serie A.

After 14 games played, Conte has the Nerazzurri sitting one point clear of their arch-rivals Juventus, who have won each of the last eight titles and done so with very little competition.

“The anti-Juventus is not Inter, but rather their manager, Antonio Conte. Before him Luciano Spalletti did a good job, but the ferocity that Antonio has changes things a lot,” Marani explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport 24.

“Conte has often said that he was inspired by Giovanni Trapattoni, If he is to have success in his first year in charge of Inter, it would be fantastic, almost unique.”
