Diego Godin has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to share the pride he has in his teammates for their performances in the Champions League loss to Barcelona which saw Inter eliminated from the competition.

The Uruguayan defender, who joined the Nerazzurri on a free transfer this past Summer, has made 15 appearances across all competitions, five of which have come in the Champions League. In 1132 minutes on the park, he has contributed one assist.

“Proud of this team, we gave everything until the final whistle. Hard defeat to take but one we have to learn from. We need to get up stronger and look forward,” he posted.
