Inter target Arturo Vidal has suffered a complete relationship breakdown with his club, Barcelona, due to the complaints of unpaid bonuses, facilitating an easier move to Inter in January, according to a report in today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera.
The report details how the Nerazzurri are looking to take advantage of the uncomfortable situation of the 32-year-old Chilean at the Catalan club. Inter are ready to invest between €15-20 million for Vidal’s signature, with the deal expected to be a loan with a buy obligation attached. The relationship between Vidal and Barcelona is now irreparable.
It’s unlikely that Vidal will arrive in time to face Napoli, the report highlights, but the Nerazzurri are hoping he’ll arrive in the week after the game. Once the Vidal deal is finalised, Inter will then turn their attention on Chelsea full back Marcos Alonso, who has been identified as a perfect fit for coach Antonio Conte’s tactical system.
