Edin Dzeko has revealed he has no regrets at knocking back Inter’s advances in the Summer despite seeing how well Inter have done this season.
Dzeko was believed to be one of the club’s top transfer targets and looked set for a move before changing his mind and penning a new contract with Roma.
“Do I have regrets about not joining Inter? I do not think about it. They are playing very well and they are top of the table together with Juventus, it will be a race for the title to the end of the season and that is good for the league,” the Bosnian explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.
Dzeko, who has been plying his trade in the Italian capital since the Summer of 2016, has made 23 appearances across all competitions this term. In just over 1900 minutes on the field, the former Manchester City man has scored 10 goals and tallied six assists.
