Inter CEO Marotta Has Sights Set On Brescia’s Sandro Tonali

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta has began the process of re-shaping Inter’s midfield ahead of next season according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Marotta intends to sell two of Matias Vecino, Borja Valero and Roberto Gagliardini in order to make way for the midfielders he hopes to bring in.

Inter are currently working on bringing Arturo Vidal from reigning Spanish champions Barcelona to the club this month and he is the first piece of Marotta’s new look midfield that he has in his mind.

The Nerazzurri club are also understood to be knee on Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez and Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen as well as Brescia’s Sandro Tonali.

As per the report, Inter have already met with Tonali’s representatives to hold talks over a potential transfer and hope to get a deal done for the highly rated youngster before the Summer. He will not come cheap though with Brescia understood to be demanding €40 million.
