Genoa are the latest club to join the race to sign Inter defender Valentino Lazaro according to a report from Passione Inter.

Inter are open to letting Lazaro leave the club on loan for the remainder of the 2019/20 season and there has been no shortage of interest in his services with clubs from several different countries showing an interest in signing him.

Newcastle United, Werder Bremen, RB Leipzig, Brighton & Hove Albion and West Ham United have all also been linked with moves for the Austrian international in other reports currently doing the rounds.

Lazaro joined Inter from Hertha Berlin during the Summer transfer window but he has really struggled to cement a place in Antonio Conte’s team having been limited to just four starts all season.

All in all, the 23-year-old has made 11 appearances across all competitions for the Nerazzurri, in which he has provided a pair of assists for his teammates.
