Inter are on the verge of completing the signing of striker Olivier Giroud from Chelsea to bolster the attacking department according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Frenchman is one step away from joining the Nerazzurri, who will finalise his move to the club once Matteo Politano departs for Napoli, who he is due to undergo a medical with tomorrow.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that Matias Vecino has opened himself up to the idea of a move to Premier League side Everton.

Uruguayan international Vecino was recently placed on the transfer list and it is understood that the Merseyside club have already submitted an offer to Inter for him.

With Vecino set to leave, Inter are evaluating a number of players they could potentially bring in to replace him. Arturo Vidal is however not one of those players being evaluated with Barcelona unwilling to let him depart.
