Italian Report Claims Inter Don’t Have Clause Entitling Them To % Of Future Sale In Deal With Flamengo Over Gabigol

Inter have given up on the chance of receiving money in the future for Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa in favour of getting more money now for him according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

As per the report, Inter will receive between €18-20 million from Flamengo for the striker and the deal will not include a clause which will entitle Inter to a % of any future sale.

Gabigol will be joining Flamengo on a permanent basis off the back of a highly successful loan spell with them last year.

The 23-year-old made 58 appearances across all competitions for the Rio de Janeiro based club during which he scored a highly impressive 43 goals and provided 13 assists for his teammates.

Gabigol, who joined Inter back in 2016 in a circa €30 million deal from Santos, provided influential as Flamengo won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A as well as the Copa Libertadores and finished runners up at the Club World Cup.
