Lautaro Martinez has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to apologise to his teammates and fans for being sent off at the end of Inter’s 1-1 draw with Cagliari this afternoon.

The Argentine international striker scored Inter’s only goal of the game but was sent off in the final few minutes of the match with the Rossoblu as he lost his cool and appeared to shout something at referee Gianluca Manganiello, which saw him given a second yellow card.

“Sad with what happened today, I apologise for everything,” he posted.
