Inter manager Antonio Conte has a plan for how he will have his team deal with AC Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic in this weekend’s Milan derby according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.
Conte and his coaching staff are well aware of the threat that the Swede poses and they are therefore working with the team with particular attention on how to deal with him.
When it comes to dealing with the 38-year-old in the air, Inter’s back three will be tasked with doing their best to stop him.
When it comes to the ball being on the ground, Marcelo Brozovic will be tasked with breaking up play and ensuring balls on the ground do not reach the former Inter man, who has two goals in five appearances since his return to the Rossoneri.
The report also states that depending on Ibrahimovic’s strike partner in AC Milan’s 4-4-2 system, some of the defenders other duties could change so to also limit either Ante Rebic or Rafael Leao.
