Inter manager Antonio Conte hopes to have injured midfielders Roberto Gagliardini and Stefano Sensi back at his disposal soon according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
Gagliardini has missed Inter’s last seven games across all competitions due to having developed bone edema in one of his feet. Sensi has meanwhile missed three of Inter’s past five games initially with a calf problem and then a foot injury.
Sunday’s Serie A match is likely to come far too soon for both of the Italian’s but Conte is hopeful that he will be able to recover the pair of them for next week’s Europa League round of 32 second leg tie at home to Ludogorets, a match which Inter head into with a 2-0 aggregate lead after winning the first leg away from home last night.
The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to state that things will become a lot clearer in the next few days.
