As things stand, Inter will not be pursuing a permanent move for loan player Alexis Sanchez according to a report from British newspaper The Daily Star.

The Nerazzurri club have been dissatisfied by the performances that the Chilean international attacker has dished up whilst out on loan at them from Premier League side Manchester United, who he looks as good as certain to return to come the end of this season.

There was a lot of excitement when Inter managed to secure the season long loan signing of Sanchez this past Summer but he has ultimately failed to live up to expectations.

An ankle injury sustained on international duty early on in his Inter career caused him to miss most of this season and he has not long returned from that injury but has not exactly made a big impact upon his return.

This season he has made a total of 13 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored one goal and provided three assists.
