Inter have taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to wish club legend Alvaro Recoba a happy birthday as he celebrates his 44th birthday.
The Uruguayan joined the club in 1997 from Nacional and would go on to spend 11 years on Inter’s books before leaving for Greek club Panionios in 2008.
Recoba made a total of 261 appearances across all competitions during his time with the Nerazzurri in which he scored 71 goals and provided 24 assists.
The club posted: “Happy birthday Alvaro Recoba! A left foot which produced countless unforgettable moments: many happy returns, Recoba!”
