The medical protocols for Serie A clubs to return to training will be released next week, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The report details how the scientific medical committee of the Italian Football Federation will release the medical protocols next Wednesday, the rules that the clubs will have to follow if they wish to return to training.
New medical tests will be introduced, the report continues. These will include molecular tests, serological tests and general blood tests, in order to fully confirm that there are no positive cases present within the squads. Players that have been infected already, like Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, will have to undergo respiratory and cardiovascular checks as well, to ensure there are no lingering lung or heart issues. Sports centers and hotels on the site will also have to be fully sanitised, in order to protect the players and the staff.
