Inter have taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to celebrate the ten year anniversary of Maicon’s memorable goal against Juventus during the Derby D’Italia.
The Brazilian right back controlled the ball with his knee outside the box, juggled it a few times and then powered a volley across goal and past Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.
Maicon joined Inter in 2006 from AS Monaco and spent six years with the club before departing for Manchester City. During his time with the club, he made 249 appearances, in which he scored 20 goals and tallied 50 assists.
