Perisic Was The Most Dangerous Player In Inter vs Torino

Gazzetta’s dello Sport were full of praise for Ivan Perisic in their player ratings for the 2-2 draw with Torino last night in which he opened the scoring and subsequently received a 6.5 rating for his performance.

“He was once again the most dangerous man at Inter, and seems to react well to the tactical solicitation. Luciano Spalletti, now asks him to focus more. In the second half for large stretches he seemed short of breath, almost at his physical limit,” the Milan based newspaper described his performance.

Meanwhile Danilo D’Ambrosio, who was playing as a central defender, received the worst rating of any Inter player with 3.

“In the first half the decision seemed like the right one. However, in the second it was his poor reading on Iago Falque’s ball that let Andrea Belotti score and thus re-open the game. That episode had suddenly undermined his certainties yet he had been among the most active in the build-up phase.”

Kwadwo Asamoah was given a 4 rating while Samir Handanovic, Dalbert, Keita Balde and Matias Vecino all got half marks with a 5 rating. Milan Skriniar, Sime Vrsaljko and Mauro Icardi were all given 5.5 ratings while Stefan de Vrij tied Perisic for the best rating with 6.5.
