Roma are leading a host of other clubs in the race to sign highly rated Sandro Tonali in the summer transfer window according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
“Brescia will not let him leave in January but in the summer an auction will be launched, with many important clubs set to participate. [Roma sporting director] Monchi has moved ahead before Inter, Sampdoria and Chelsea for him while Juventus is also interested,” the report from the Rome based newspaper details.
The 18-year-old central midfielder has drawn comparisons to former Inter and Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo for his play style and is believed to be valued at a figure in excess of €10 million by the Serie B club.
This season Tonali, who is an Italian youth international at Under 19 level, has made seven appearances across all competitions and tallied three assists in the process as his value seems to rise after each passing game.
