Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic is no different to any other player when it comes to going through hot and cold patches of form. Every now and then he will make an error but is still more than capable of pulling of the sensational saves that only the top goalkeepers in the world can do, a report from Tuttosport details.

Ahead of this weekend’s derby, the Turin based newspaper recall a sensational save and an mistake he has made in recent times during the fixture. Back in 2015 he made a memorable save on Milan striker but in the 2016/17 season he misjudged the situation in the 2-2 draw that allowed Cristian Zapata to score a super late equaliser to secure the draw for the Rossoneri.

The Slovenian shot-stopper, who has been with the club since 2012, will turn 35-years-old in the summer and it is therefore logical to believe that Inter are planning their next steps for the position once he hangs up his gloves. The report also goes on to state that Inter could have a complete revolution on the goalkeeping front with neither back-up Daniele Padelli or third choice Tomasso Berni appearing capable of playing as the starting goalkeepers deputy.
