Former Inter defender Nicolas Burdisso has shared his thoughts and feelings ahead of tonight’s Champions League clash with Barcelona.

“I think tonight will be a different match compared to the one played at the Camp Nou. The Nerazzurri are in a great moment. There are many newcomers at these levels in the team and perhaps this lack of experience made the difference in the match played in Spain,” the Argentine said in an interview with Radio Marca.

Burdisso then spoke on his favourite to win the Serie A title this term in Juventus.

“I was left surprised by the choice of Cristiano Ronaldo to go and play for Juventus. In Italy, the Bianconeri have no opponents.”

The 37-year-old recently announced his retirement from football after a 19 year playing career that saw him represent Boca Juniors, Roma, Genoa and Torino as well as Inter, where he spent five years between 2004 and 2009.
