Inter The Only Football Club At The Chinese International Import Expo

Inter are the only football club in the world to be taking part in the China International Import Expo in Shanghai over the coming days, a press release from the club revealed.

Inter’s stand at the expo focuses on a range of topics, particularly Inter and China’s 40 year relationship. Back in 1978 Inter became the first professional football team to play a game in China and these days the club have a Chinese ownership in the Suning group and Chinese president in Steven Zhang.

A section of Inter’s stand, which is situated in the service-industry area, is dedicated to their many partners and the co-branded products.

“As part of CIIE, on 7 November Inter will unveil two new regional partners, China Unicom and Moutai, who are top brands in their respective sectors of telecommunications and fine liquors. The club has plans to release co-branded products with both companies in the local market,” part of the release reads.

Inter’s Chinese fans will also be in for a treat with club legend and current vice-president Javier Zanetti to attend on November 8 and 9.
