Inter Defender Dalbert Could Be Out For More Than 20 Days

Just now at the time when his contribution would have been decisive to give Kwadwo Asamoah a break before a tough run of fixtures, Dalbert has suffered an injury and the diagnosis is not very positive for the left back.

During a training session Dalbert felt discomfort in his left leg and will be out of action for over two weeks, according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

“The conditions of the 25-year-old left back will be re-evaluated next week but at the moment we are already talking about a layoff of at least 20 days, with the risk that the recovery times can also be lengthened.”

Dalbert has yet to show his best form for Inter since joining from OGC Nice in 2017. He has only made 14 league appearances for Inter in that time and it was hoped he would be able to deputise for Asamoah but it seems that will have to wait until he is back from this injury.
