Inter Manager Spalletti: “The Team Is Very Ready For This Run Of Fixtures”

Inter manager Luciano Spalletti has set his sights on getting the tough run of fixtures ahead of his side off to the best possible start with a win over Frosinone tomorrow night.

“This is the first test in a run of games that can say a lot about our future. We can only come out of this match against Frosinone with a win,” he insisted in an interview with Italian Sky Sport.

“The team is very ready for this run of fixtures. We have already played games that have put us in a position to play for victory but it is clear that we have first-class opponents in front of us.”

Spalletti then spoke on the loss to Atalanta prior to the international break.

“It is clear that the blackouts have not disappeared. We could have done better, starting from my selections. However, we can play with anyone and I am convinced about that.”

He was then asked about his selections for tomorrow.

“The names who play are not important, we have a level we must reach both physically and mentally. We will train again tomorrow morning and I will be able to find out how they are doing. There are players here who have not played over the international break and it is clear we have to make assessments.”
