In an interview with Sud Ouest, Yann Karamoh unveils the future plans that the Nerazzurri has in mind for him. After signing him from Caen for €7 Million in the summer of 2017, he had a year of growing and learning in Milan, before being sent on loan to Bordeaux to continue to develop by having more space to play regularly.

“Inter see me as a future player of the French national team. I came as a young player to Inter and it was not easy to impose myself, there were many great players around me, a team that was finding itself after several years.

“I talked to Lautaro Martinez, who is a fantastic player, before I came to Bordeaux and all the staff and I know that at no time did people want to put me down … They told me I could leave on loan, but they wanted to keep hold of me in the long term.

“Inter see me as a future player of France with great potential, they do not want to make the same mistake as they did with Philippe Coutinho, who after two or three years after being at Inter, where he did not play consistently, left and then he exploded.”
