With Marcelo Brozovic suspended, Borja Valero is the man expected to fill the role of creative fulcrum of Inter’s midfield this Saturday against Frosinone.
It is a great responsibility but the Spaniard, one of the few Nerazzurri who was not called up for international duty, appears to be excited by the challenge.
He posted a photo of himself at Pinetina with a huge smile on his face and the caption “Good feelings in training” to his Instagram account.
Despite his increasing years, Valero remains a player that Luciano Spalletti has relied on throughout the season. He has made eleven appearances so far, but only two starts and is yet to play out a full 90 minutes.
