Stefano Capozucca has poured cold water on media speculation that loanee Andrea Pinamonti could leave Frosinone before the transfer deadline.
“Daniel Ciofani is our starting striker, he is a pillar of this Frosinone side and he will not move. Pinamonti could leave? These reports are unfounded and totally false,” the 64-year-old said in an interview with Numero-diez.com.
The Italian youth international joined the Gialloblu club in the Summer on a season long loan. Widely regarded as one of Inter’s top prospects, it was essential that Pinamonti got plenty game time and that is something he has got while at the Stadio Benito Stirpe having made 14 appearances across all competitions since his arrival in which he has scored three goals.
Pinamonti joined Inter’s youth setup back in 2013 from Chievo Verona and has progressed through the youth ranks of the club. He has however found first team opportunities at the Nerazzurri hard to come by due to Inter traditionally playing just the one striker and that striker being one of the world’s best in Mauro Icardi.
