Inter CEO Antonello: “Inter Will Never Accept Episodes Of Racism Like Those Against Napoli”

Inter chief executive Alessandro Antonello has reaffirmed Inter’s position when it comes to racism following the events of the past few weeks.

“Some of our fans have not set a good example. Inter will not and will never accept episodes of racism like those that happened during the match against Napoli,” an insistent Antonello is quoted as saying by news agency ANSA.

“Brothers of the World is our slogan and it is not just a trivial quote. We split from Milan to afford foreigners the chance to play football.

“Inter-Napoli marked a period of profound reflection for us after which we launched a campaign against discrimination.

He concluded, “Every year we take more than 400 youngsters from our academy to the Holocaust Memorial and it is a really touching experience for them. It is a signal of hope that young people who seem distracted by technology can still be messengers of positivity.”
