Inter legend Esteban Cambiasso reflected on Inter’s 2-0 victory over SPAL yesterday while a guest on Sky Sport Calcio Club and firstly spoke on Inter striker Lautaro Martinez.

The 21-year-old forward was among Inter’s best performers if not the best and would have had himself a goal had VAR not cancelled it out.

“Lautaro had three potential goals in the box in the first half. He is doing very well,” Cambiasso began.

“Inter always give the impression that they are not suffering, and when it is like this, in the end some action will make them get back to scoring, even with so many absences from the team.”

He concluded by discussing the week ahead for Inter that sees them in Europa League action against Eintracht Frankfurt during the week and then the Milan derby at the weekend.

“This week Inter will have to face two very important games on Thursday and Sunday.”
