Benfica have made contact with football agent Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Riso with regard to his client Inter defender Federico Dimarco according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
Dimarco first caught the attention of Portuguese giants a year ago and they have kept their eyes on him ever since and are now ready to make a move for him.
The 21-year-old is seemingly not in Inter’s plans as evidenced by the fact he spent last season out on loan and the Nerazzurri are weighing his possible sale up.
Inter, as per the report, could be willing to sell Dimarco for between €10-12 million. Whilst not a huge sum of money, it will undoubtedly go toward granting incoming Inter manager Antonio Conte’s transfer wishes this Summer.
During the 2018/19 season, which he spent with fellow Serie A side Parma, Italian youth international Dimarco made 14 appearances across all competitions in which he contributed a single goal and single assist in 962 minutes.
