Inter’s initial offer for Nicolo Barella has interested Cagliari but FCInterNews.it report that there is still some work to be done if Inter wish to get a deal over the line.
The Nerazzurri offered €30 million and gave the Rossoblu the option to pick two of Lorenzo Gavioli, Davide Merola and Facundo Colidio to be part of the deal.
Cagliari value Barella at €50 million and the above deal falls just short of that evaluation when you take the players evaluations into consideration.
The report goes on to state that Inter could raise the cash aspect to €33 million and offer €7 million rated Gavioli and €10 million rated Colidio to reach €50 million.
There will be no problems when it comes to agreeing terms with Barella however. Inter have prepared a five year contract worth €2.5 million a year for him.
Incoming Inter boss Antonio Conte is a big fan of the 22-year-old and has already envisioned him playing the N’Golo Kante role in his Inter side.
