In the next 48 hours, Antonio Conte is expected to be named as the next Inter manager according to a report from Corriere della Sera.

The former Italian national team manager is due to join the club on a three year contract with a base annual salary of €9.5 million. If he reaches his bonuses targets, his salary could be closer to the €12 million mark.

Conte will make his first visit to Inter’s training ground on Thursday and should be presented to the media on Friday.

Following this, he will join the Inter management in Madrid to watch Saturday night’s Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

After this, Conte will then travel to China at some point in the coming weeks to meet with Inter owner Jindong Zhang. The meeting will allow for everyone to plan for the season ahead and define the objectives.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to detail that Gabriele ‘Lele’ Oriali will be following Conte in at the club.

The pair worked together when Conte was in charge of the national team and Oriali will serve as team manager at Inter.
