Inter Defender Pirola Celebrates Under-17 Scudetto: “We’d Have Won It Blindfolded!”

Inter defender Lorenzo Pirola last night joked the Nerazzurri could have won the under-17 league title even if they had played blindfolded.

Sebastiano Esposito scored a hat-trick for Andrea Zanchetta’s side as they dismantled Roma 3-1 in Thursday’s final, securing yet another youth title for Inter’s academy.

Inter also reached the under-15, under-16 and Primavera finals this season, but ended up on the losing side on all three occasions.

Riccardo Ciervo scored a consolation goal for the Giallorossi.
