Inter’s Spanish midfielder Borja Valero could return to former club Fiorentina but a deal is very unlikely until the last few days of the transfer window, Italian newspaper La Repubblica reports.
According to the report, Inter are very keen on selling the former Fiorentina man who joined the Nerazzurri in the summer of 2017, and the player himself is reportedly willing to lower his wages to facilitate a deal.
Furthermore, according to the report, Fiorentina are expecting Inter to lower their asking price of €4 million for the player who spent 5 seasons with the Viola between 2012 and 2017 where he featured 211 times scoring 17 goals and acting as the provider of goals 42 times.
A deal is, therefore according to La Repubblica, not likely to take off until the dying days of the summer transfer window, after the Nerazzurri have signed everyone they want to sign and have the time to spend focusing on Valero’s departure.
