Romelu Lukaku moved closer to a Manchester United departure today after the Belgian was excluded from their final preseason friendly.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will play Norwegian side Kristiansund tomorrow afternoon, with the new Premier League season less than a fortnight away.
Lukaku was not among the 26 players named in the match-day squad, however, and the club have given no indication he is still injured.
Inter and Juventus remain strongly interested in signing the Belgian and his absence from the trip to Norway will only make the rumours surrounding his future even louder.
Matteo Darmian was also left out by Solskjaer, and he too has been linked with both clubs this month.
