Inter Want To Extend Antonio Candreva’s Contract To 2022

In the coming Autumn months, Inter will sit down with the agent of Antonio Candreva to hold talks over a possible contract extension with the club according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Candreva has come a very long way since the beginning of the Summer transfer window where it seemed almost inevitable that he would depart the club having fallen well down the pecking order during Luciano Spalletti’s tenure in charge of the Nerazzurri.

The 32-year-old Italian has been completely reinvigorated by Antonio Conte’s arrival as Inter manager and has put in several good performances at this early stage of the 2019/20 season. For this reason, Inter wish to tie him down to an extended contract.

The former Lazio man is already under contract with the Nerazzurri until the end of next season but Inter wish to extend his deal until the end of the season after that, meaning his contract would then expire in June 2022.
