Fabrizio Biasin: “Inter Will Surely Do Something In January, They Don’t Want Ibrahimovic”

Journalist Fabrizio Biasin believes Inter will make moves in the upcoming January transfer window to plug the gaps that have become apparent in recent weeks that have only been further added to by injuries over the international break.

“They will surely do something but sitting here and saying that if they do not sign a great midfielder they are not going anywhere is easy,” he said in an interview with Radio Sportiva.

He then excluded the possibility of pending free agent Zlatan Ibrahimovic returning to the Nerazzurri, where he previously spent three seasons between 2006 and 2009, in which he scored 57 goals in 88 league appearances.

“He is a phenomenon, but a club that has a serious plan like Inter does know that they do not want to fall back on a 38-year-old player. I do not think that he is in the plans of any Serie A team.”

The Swede is due to leave MLS outfit LA Galaxy when his contract expires at the end of this year and some reports in the media have linked him with a return to Manchester United.
