Inter will stop teen sensation Sebastiano Esposito from going to the under 17 World Cup with Italy as a result of Alexis Sanchez’s injury according to a report from Gazzetta.it.
The Nerazzurri’s medical staff conducted tests on Alexis Sanchez earlier today and confirmed the intial diagnosis given by the Chilean national team medical staff.
The 30-year-old, who joined Inter on a season long loan from Premier League club Manchester United in the Summer, is due to see a specialist tomorrow in Barcelona who will determine whether the injury he has sustained will require surgery.
Reports to have done the rounds in the media as of late suggest Sanchez is facing a few months out on the sidelines and because of this Inter simply cannot afford to let Esposito go to the under 17 World Cup due to the fact it would leave them even shorter in attack for a number of weeks.
