Inter Optimistic Ahead Of Testing Alexis Sanchez’s Condition Today

Inter are remaining optimistic ahead of their testing of Alexis Sanchez’s condition despite fears raised by Chile national team manager Reinaldo Rueda according to a report in today’s paper edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 30-year-old attacker sustained an ankle injury during Chile’s goalless international friendly with Colombia during the ongoing international break.

The Chilean national team’s medical staff gave an initial diagnosis but did not complete all tests so Inter will do all the tests on the former Arsenal player, who joined in the Summer on loan from Manchester United.

Inter are feeling confident due to seeing how Sanchez moved as he was chased into his taxi by journalists as he left Chile’s training base in order to go to the airport so to return to Milan.

The report goes on to state that the outcome of Sanchez’s test results will determine whether or not Sebastiano Esposito will go to the Under 17 World Cup. If the results are bad, Inter will keep Esposito around so to provide cover in Sanchez’s absence.
