Inter Pair Sensi & Barella Will Almost Certainly Be In Italy’s EURO 2020 Squad

With Italy’s place at EURO 2020 safe and secure, Gazzetta dello Sport have already began to hypothesise about the squad national team manager Roberto Mancini could call upon in today’s paper edition.

They believe that as many as 18 players have as good as secured their spot in the 23-man squad for the tournament which will take place across several host cities across Europe for the first time in the competition’s history.

Among those 18 players are Inter midfielders Stefano Sensi and Nicolo Barella, who are being hotly tipped to be the future of the Italian midfield for the coming years.

They may not be the only Inter representatives in the squad however, the report goes on as it also looks at some players in contention for inclusion.

Danilo D’Ambrosio and Cristiano Biraghi are both in with a shout of being called up to play at full back but there is a lot of competition for those places whilst Inter youngster Alessandro Bastoni has been given an outside chance of being involved.
