Stefano Sensi will not recover in time for Inter’s match away to Slavia Prague in the Champions League according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.
The Italian international has missed several of Inter’s games as of late due to a number of injuries and will miss yet another game when Inter travel to the Czech capital for their penultimate group stafe match against Slavia.
Roberto Gagliardini will however be back available for selection and will be back in the starting line-up. Gagliardini will replace Nicolo Barella, who picked up a knee injury during this past weekend’s 3-0 win over Torino.
The former Atalanta player will play alongside Marcelo Brozovic and Matias Vecino in the midfield with Borja Valero to be the first option of the bench for manager Antonio Conte.
Valero made just his second appearance of the season this past weekend and with injuries piling up, the veteran Spaniard could see yet more action in the coming weeks.
