Speaking in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, Inter manager Antonio Conte has shared his views ahead of the crucial Champions League group stage match away to Slavia Prague.
“I expect a difficult match, we have seen how they have played in other games. Even Barcelona and Dortmund struggled to play here,” the former Italian national team boss explained.
“There are some regrets on our part as we could have managed some games better. We need to win the two games that are left, there is no alternative. Slavia Prague will want to pick up points too so it will be a tough match.
“These matches are obligatory steps for our growth. Tomorrow we will need everything. We need correct management and must know what awaits us from beginning to the end. We must suffer and be ready to hit them on the counter as we know how to hurt them.
In conclusion he was asked about the respective conditions of Matteo Politano and Roberto Gagliardini: “They have been with the rest of the group for a couple of days, they have recovered. Let’s see tomorrow [if they will play].”
