Ionut Radu has admitted to being focused on the task at hand at loan club Genoa when quizzed on his return to Inter at the end of this season.

“I am always ready, but for now I am doing my job at Genoa,” he explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia following Genoa’s 1-1 draw with SPAL last night.

As part of the interview, the Romanian international shot-stopper also spoke on who he thinks the best goalkeepers in the world are at the moment.

“Gianluigi Buffon and David De Gea above all. Then there are many others too such as Jan Oblak, Hugo Lloris, Samir Handanovic and Wojciech Szczesny.”

The 22-year-old has spent the past 18 months with the Rossoblu and has cemented himself as the number one goalkeeper at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris side.

This season Radu has been ever present having made 14 appearances across all competitions, in which he has managed to keep two clean sheets.
