Crystal Palace are ready to submit an offer to Inter for striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The Premier League club are ready to offer Inter a sum of €23 million for the Brazilian striker, who is currently out on loan at Brazilian club Flamengo. They face competition from fellow Premier League side West Ham United as well as Bundesliga club Schalke.

Flamengo have not hidden the fact that they wish to tie him down on a permanent basis but are aware they cannot compete financially with European clubs.

The Mengao have offered him a five year contract with an annual net salary of €5 million but will need to wait for a response with the 23-year-old asking for all talks on his future to be postponed until after the Club World Cup.

Gabigol, who joined Inter for €30 million from Santos in 2016, has scored 40 goals in 54 appearances across all competitions for the Rubronegro, who he has helped to win the Brazilian Serie A and Copa Libertadores.
