Inter could offer Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa to Fiorentina as part of a deal that would see them get Federico Chiesa according to a report in today’s print edition of La Repubblica.

It appears almost inevitable that Chiesa will leave La Viola in the not too distant future and despite the fact his price has dropped to around €50 million, due to the breakdown in relations between himself and club leaders, it is still too much for Inter, particularly in the January transfer window.

Inter could offer Gabigol, who they value between €35-40 million, plus cash in exchange for the highly rated Italian international winger.

Gabigol has starred whilst out on loan at Flamengo scoring no less than 40 goals since January for them and thanks to his goalscoring exploits, he now has a lot more interest in his services and Fiorentina are a team who have been linked with him in recent weeks in the media.

The report also states that Matteo Politano could be inserted into the deal.
