Ahead of Inter’s penultimate Champions League match against Slavia Prague tonight, Corriere dello Sport have taken a look at all the permutations that would lead to Inter qualifying for the knockout stages in today’s print edition.
Two wins in the final two games will guarantee Inter a place in the knockout rounds so long as Borussia Dortmund pick up no more than three points. Even if Inter lose one of their two games, they could also qualify if they are to win one of the two and Dortmund are to lose each of their two games.
The report from the Roman newspaper has also taken a look at the permutations required for Inter to land in the Europa League.
Inter currently occupy the Europa League spot in the group and if they are to lose tonight, then they will have to beat Barcelona and hope Slavia Prague do not beat Borussia Dortmund.
