Antonio Conte will once again call upon midfielder Marcelo Brozovic to deliver as Inter find themselves in a difficult situation in the Champions League according to a report in today’s paper edition of Corriere dello Sport.
Brozovic has been almost ever present in Conte’s team this season having missed just 19 minutes of action and Conte hopes he can put in a similarly superb performance to the one that he put in in the 3-0 win over Torino this past weekend in Serie A.
The 27-year-old is the player who keeps things ticking in the centre of the park and even more will be expected of him given that the Nerazzurri will have to do without Nicolo Barella.
Barella has sustained a knee injury that requires surgery that is expected to keep him out of action until the new year and with Stefano Sensi also out, Inter lack any real quality aside from Brozovic in midfield.
