Inter In Pole Position To Sign Olivier Giroud In January Transfer Window

Olivier Giroud is the chosen one to address Inter’s need for another striker according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Inter manager Antonio Conte wants another striker brought in who has experience at the top and is capable of scoring goals.

Giroud fits the bill in this regard and is also no stranger to Conte and his ways which makes signing him a further enticing idea.

The two worked together at Chelsea therefore the veteran Frenchman should not take long at all to get into the swing of things should he complete a move to the Nerazzurri in January.

Inter are in pole position to land the 33-year-old and are considering whether to offer him a two-and-a-half year contract but do face some competition from Borussia Dortmund.

Inter will finance their move for the former Arsenal forward through the money raised from Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa’s sale, which will also help them toward signing a midfielder.
