Inter Only Want Vidal On Loan But Barcelona Don’t Want To Loan Him

Inter will only sign Arturo Vidal on loan if they are to go in for him in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Prior to yesterday’s 2-1 win over lowly SPAL, Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta spoke openly – and highly – on the Chilean international midfielder, who is currently on the books of Barcelona.

The Nerazzurri were keen to sign Vidal during the Summer transfer window but could not get a deal done. With the January window around the corner, Inter have reignited their interest in the 32-year-old, who has fallen down the pecking order at the Catalan club.

Due to his age, Inter do not wish to sign him on a permanent basis, at least to begin with and will therefore only take him on loan but Barcelona, as per the Turin newspaper’s report, have no interest in loaning the former Juventus star out.
