Inter have taken to social media platform Twitter to wish former manager Luigi ‘Gigi’ Simoni a happy birthday as he celebrates turning 81-years-old.
Simoni served as Inter manager for 18 months between the Summer of 1997 to the end of 1998. Simoni won 45 of the 73 competitive matches played during his time in charge and one a single trophy in the UEFA Cup.
As part of the post, the club also offered their support to Simoni, who suffered a heart attack a few months back and is still recovering.
