Inter have cooled their interest in signing Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.

Inter have been strongly linked with a move for the experienced French international forward and some reports have even suggested that the Nerazzurri have had personal terms agreed with him for the past few weeks.

However, Inter have had a change of heart regarding the 33-year-old former Arsenal man and the parties are becomingly increasingly distant.

The report goes on to state that Inter are now looking at alternatives that they could make a last minute move for before the January transfer window closes in the next few days.

As per other reports currently circulating in the media, Inter have shown an interest in signing Napoli’s Ferando Llorente, Sassuolo’s Alessandro Matri, who is currently out on loan at Brescia and Leicester City’s Islam Slimani, who is out on loan at Ligue 1 outfit Monaco.
